1,000 Islands
The Thousand Islands are a group of 1,864 islands in the St. Lawrence River, straddling the border of the U.S. and Canada. Through the years it has been a fashionable retreat for the elite and a hub for outdoor activities. Many mansions and small cottage homes. The left picture below is the smallest border crossing bridge anywhere in the world. The water between the islands is the international border. Both islands are owned by the same family.
